Yups, just as the title tells ya.. I am a certified Gen2-door-fixing mechanic. -LOL- My fiancee and I got ourselves a set of half-cut Gen2 door (left -side). We WERE supposed to send the doors and the car to a workshop to replace the original doors but I guess we were just to crazy to even think of fixing them ourselves. Hehe.. (Well, it doesn't looked too hard at the time!) If anybody asks why the change the doors? Obviously, because the original doors are in a very bad condition of course! Think we're that stupid just to 'suka-suka tukar pintu ke?' Haha. Anyway, it is harder than we thought it would. My fiancee had the help from me and his little brother. Boy, the doors were very heavy. The screws? It's damn hard to take them out. You should just see the rust and oily dirts.. But the best part was.. eventhough we had a hard time unscrewing and had to take off the skirtings and left fender to unfix the front-left door.. we still managed to successfully replace the original... or How I Spent My Mother...
There oughta be a law against a wife and mother having this much damn fun in one weekend. Oh, wait, there is, just not here. Friday was the birthday of two friends of ours, so we went out for an excellent Asian/fusion meal where we were served by probably the best and most personable waiter I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Of course, he recognized right off the bat that he had a table full of current and former servers, so the anticipation of the killer tip he most definitely recieved probably helped spur him to greater heights of wonderfullness. Then the evening devolved into shots, more shots, and dancing to reggae at Fatso's. Much fun was had by all. We got to catch up with our friend who went into the Army's intelligence division several years ago, after being rejected by the LAPD because no matter how many times they had the FBI administer that damn polygraph, they couldn't get any sort of reading off of him whatsoever. Sudden sadness.
Sorry to Rain for the aeroplane today .. Got emo after receiving my mummy's call in the afternoon .. Mummy told me that she was very happy because she finally bought her house .. Kept telling me about staying together at last .. Told me quite a lot .. Sigh. That's something i'm not happy about .. Why must i move to the West side ? I love being in the East, i don't want to move. I want to stay in daddy's house with hubby everyday .. I want to go out with hubby anywhere anytime possible .. I want to enjoy the time when i can meet my friends who are all staying in the east to eat Dim Sum in the middle of the night .. To play mahjong .. To go and have fun .. What if i move out to the West ? It's like so far from them .. Especially hubby .. I told him about it .. I could feel that he was sad even though he tried not to show.
